The Artistic Director at CFTC creates the vision for our Company’s relationship to the quality work we produce and the demanding communities we present it to! Beyond being the inspiration and driving force for each season’s catalog, the Artistic Director oversees each production through the leadership of our Creative Teams. Together with the Managing Director, Administrative Assistant, and our Board of Trustees, the Artistic Director improves not only the scope and quality of each season’s shows but also the scope and quality of each year’s financial results. As the primary liaison between creative teams/productions/cast and the Board of Trustees, the Artistic Director works to connect the mission and vision of the organization with each production and event.
The ideal candidate for this volunteer position will be an energetic individual with an enthusiastic attraction to the Fairfax community and an ability to network with area artists and creatives.
